Catering Event Questions
What type of food can you provide?
We. Can. Cook. Anything. We want to offer the guests an opportunity to let us know what they would like to enjoy at their wedding, and we want to work to accommodate that. We can provide a plated service, buffet style, or heavy appetizers depending on the venue. The fun in these events is working with the couple to create the menu of their dreams for a special occasion.
Do you cater out-of-town events?
We have a vast area that we cater to. We can travel as far west as Texas, south as Miami, and north as North Carolina. Due to logistics, we charge for transportation, which could limit what is provided depending on the venue’s kitchen.
Do you provide a bartender?
We can provide a beer & wine service, but we do not offer a full liquor bar.
What do you specialize in?
Southern Food. Japanese, Moroccan, & Indian flavors and influences.
Pricing? How much can we expect to spend?
We ask planners and guests to budget a minimum of $85 per person.
Can we use your restaurant for our wedding?
To utilize one of the Lake Ella cottages for a wedding, all the pieces must fit correctly! Please get in touch with us if you are interested.
Do you do tastings?
Tastings are included in our wedding packages. If you want to schedule a tasting without purchasing a wedding package, the tasting is $100 per person and can be scheduled upon request!
Can you provide vendor meals?
We will provide meals for vendors if requested. This will be included in the cost per person.
Can you take care of various allergy/dietary requests?
Yes. We take allergy and dietary restrictions very seriously. If there is a food allergy, we will happily accommodate the guests. We will need proper notice beforehand! They must be distinguished to us on the day of the event!
When will you need a final headcount?
The headcount two weeks prior to the event will be the one that is accounted for. Any changes that subtract from the headcount are not refundable.
Do we need to bring our own wine?
We will provide you with a beer and wine list and recommendations for pairings on the menu. We are happy to include a beer and wine package if you feel your guests will take advantage; otherwise, we offer beer and wine to be purchased on-site separately.

How does this work? Do you just...come over and cook?
Exactly that! I arrive to your house 60-90 minutes prior to the agreed upon start time, I'll bring a staff member with me, and you sit back and enjoy the show! We take care of all dishes, cleaning the kitchen, packing leftovers, and everyone is welcome into the kitchen to ask questions at any time!
How do you schedule a private dinner?
Schedule a call with me to confirm the dinner date and what kind of food you’d like. Then, based on our conversation, I can determine a price point.
Can you provide a private dinner for two?
Unfortunately, we rarely service private dinners for two. I encourage couples to sign up for one of our cooking classes as a great alternative.
